Pan Atlantic Foundation seeks an International Area Representative to recruit host families, guide them through applications and orientation, and provide ongoing support for students’ stays. Strong interpersonal skills and community engagement are essential for success in this flexible, part-time role.

The position is 1099, with remote work options and local travel to schools and host homes. Experience in education or outreach is a plus, and bilingual abilities are helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone calls or in-person visits
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports accurately in the online system
