Job summary

Acreage CCF NJ is seeking a Cultivation Technician II to ensure advanced plant care across growth stages and to mentor Level 1 Technicians while supporting compliance and operational excellence in our cultivation facility.

You will oversee daily feeding and care, monitor crop health, assist with harvest activities, manage records, coordinate with leadership on inventory, and contribute to audits and seed-to-sale compliance with a strong team-first ethos.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent – required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field – required
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Plant Care and Advanced Cultivation: Execute and oversee daily feeding and care schedules.
• Lead by example in pruning and repotting crops, ensuring uniformity and best practices.
• Monitor plants for pests, deficiencies, or irregularities and take corrective measures.
• Provide harvest and post-harvest support including harvesting, drying and trimming as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of nutrient mixes, equipment maintenance and crop activities.
• Coordinate inventory audits and optimize resource allocation with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with seed-to-sale requirements and SOPs.
• Maintain and clean cultivation equipment and workspace; support calibration of meters.
• Mentor Cultivation Technicians and assist in onboarding new staff.
• Support audits and inspections with proper documentation and facility condition.
