Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in professional kitchen/food service.
• Strong knowledge of cooking, sanitation, food handling, and production guides.
• ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to teach and mentor adults; coordinate production and deadlines.
• Preferred: culinary degree or certificate; catering, cost control, nonprofit program experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with catering deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure quality meals.
• Plan menus, oversee catering for events, and manage food costs.
• Train participants, coach staff, and ensure safety and sanitation.
• Maintain inventory, purchasing, and records.
• Coordinate with program staff and partners for production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with AHCA, health, fire safety and licensing requirements.
