Job description

Join to apply for the Culinary Team Member (Full-Time) role at Haymarket.

We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic team! This position reports to the Culinary Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  1. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment; ensure equipment cleanliness, repair, and safety standards, including dish washing.
  2. Report safety hazards immediately.
  3. Prepare high-quality food items under the supervision of the Culinary Manager.
  4. Prepare and assemble ingredients.
  5. Store excess food at the correct temperature to prevent spoilage.
  6. Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed.
  7. Ensure cooking utensils are clean before each use.
  8. Clean and sterilize food preparation areas.
  9. Assist other cooks to ensure timely order completion.
  10. Resolve customer complaints efficiently as directed by the Culinary Manager.
  11. Follow food health and safety regulations.
  12. Master each station in the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of cooking methods and techniques, or a desire to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork willingness.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Apple and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
