  • Location: Penn Highlands Elk - 763 Johnsonburg Road, Saint Marys, PA 15857 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full and part time. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Food service and cooking experience required.
  • Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinating kitchen staff, and assuming leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties include:

  • Cooking following approved recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
  • Supervising food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  • Storing food per safety standards, ensuring proper handling, presentation, and temperature.
  • Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Interacting with customers and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Understanding and explaining menu items to staff and customers.
  • Monitoring inventory, supplies, and waste.
  • Performing other assigned duties.
