You will foster a guest-focused culture, ensure quality class experiences, and partner with leadership to grow class enrollment and store engagement. Culinary leadership and education are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a culinary instructor.
• 3-4 years of progressively responsible kitchen management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor and retain a high-performing team to meet business needs.
• Lead, coach, and inspire associates to exceed performance expectations.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create development plans.
• Represent Sur La Table's brand by creating memorable, educational experiences.
• Ensure outstanding cooking class experiences following recipes and game plans.
• Work with store leadership to increase foot traffic through classes and events.
• Maintain product knowledge and training to stay current.
