Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Resident Chef to lead high-performing culinary teams and inspire customers through engaging classes. You will oversee the in-store culinary program, blend culinary talent with business acumen, and drive sales while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will mentor staff, maintain food safety standards, and stay current on products and training resources to foster a guest-obsessed service culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• Culinary degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered in exceptional cases.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a culinary instructor.
• 3-4 years of progressively responsible kitchen management experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and motivating high performing teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
