Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day (Utah/Idaho)
• Read and communicate effectively in English
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Safe food handling techniques in all applications
• Understand workflow, prioritizes, and deadlines
• Customer service experience preferred
• Understand/prepare food for modified diets (preferred)
• Utilize commercial cooking equipment (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and instructions in preparing food items
• May prepare bulk food items for large-scale production or catered items
• Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment
• Manage production quantities with proper rotation of products
• Interact with customers in venues such as catering, retail outlets, or patient care
• May deliver patient meals, cashier, stock, and operate ware-washing equipment
• Provide after-hours supervision in the absence of supervisor or Chef
