Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work.
• Three years of culinary leadership as a sous chef or similar within Intermountain facilities.
• Associates degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent credential recognized by an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production area to ensure adherence to recipes, menus, and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Manage staffing models and labor budgets to meet facility needs.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards for kitchen operations and food safety.
• Mentor and develop culinary staff through coaching and training.
• Coordinate with facility leadership on equipment needs and budget considerations.
