Qualifications

• Two years of institutional cooking experience or equivalent.
• Current Utah Food Handler Permit or ANSI-accredited Food Protection Manager certification.
• Additional license requirements per hiring department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of food items by following hospital recipes and procedures.
• Lead activities of other cooks and perform advanced duties as assigned.
• Maintain sanitation and clean work areas to meet hospital standards.
• Forecast cooking production and manage requisitions using department software.
• Assist with catering, meal service setup, and food presentation.
• Develop or modify hospital recipes to improve kitchen output.
