Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Food Service/Prep Aide to assist the cook in preparing and presenting meals for residents. You will maintain dishwashing operations, help keep dishes and kitchen equipment clean, and support dining room service as needed.

The role requires teamwork, basic kitchen knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and have the ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Must be able to work under close supervision.
• Possess basic knowledge of kitchen operation and use of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to understand and retain simple instructions and apply them to position.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as requested.
• Portion and plate salads and desserts.
• Assist with cleaning of kitchen, including floors and equipment.
• Set up and run dishwashing operation, keeping the dishwasher clean and free of debris.
• Clean pots and pans as needed.
• Report problems in the kitchen or dining room to supervisor.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests.
