Job summary

Levy Sector, a member of Compass Group, seeks a direct supervisor of food-service associates to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and applicable laws while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

You will train staff, assign work, monitor performance, advise on purchasing to minimize waste, ensure proper recipes, temperatures and portions, operate and clean equipment, manage storage, follow HACCP, and assist during meal periods.

Qualifications

• Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies and laws.
• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance.

Responsibilities

• Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portions.
• Operates and cleans equipment following department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates food items to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure safety of food supply.
• Helps serves meals and gathers customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
