Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate dietary team member to join the Bon Secours St Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA. You will assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals in a timely fashion, providing excellent service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Role includes full-time shifts (Day/Evening/Night), mandatory background check and drug screen, and eligibility verification. Healthcare experience is preferred, and you will operate in a fast-paced hospital kitchen

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
