Job summary

Episcopal Homes in St. Paul, Minnesota, is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure a great dining experience for residents. This full-time role runs 11:00 a.m.

to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and alternating holidays. Wage is $24.50–$25.50 per hour, supporting a vibrant community with modern amenities. The supervisor will train staff, monitor food safety and quality, and coordinate meals and events while maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous food service supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the daily work of culinary team members.
• Help ensure meal service runs smoothly and on time.
• Train and support staff on food service, sanitation, and department procedures.
• Monitor portion sizes, food presentation, and proper food temperatures.
• Oversee the timely start of meal service for residents and guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Assist with special events and catered functions.
