Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Dishwasher at Hilton Madison Monona Terrace in Madison, WI. Full-time position with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Wage estimate is $15/hour.

You will keep the kitchen clean, support food service operations, and help maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will operate dish machines, manage dishware, assist with cafeteria operations, and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-noise kitchen environments.
• Comfort working in hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull heavier loads as needed.
• No prior experience required; hospitality or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine per standards.
• Scrape, rinse, rack, wash, unload, and store dishes and utensils.
• Transport clean dishes to kitchen line and other Food & Beverage areas.
• Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and prep areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish room, floors, walls, and counters.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the kitchen and dish areas.
• Restock supplies like plates, utensils, soap, and towels.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and personal appearance guidelines.
• Move food carts, dish racks, and other equipment as needed.
• Support associate cafeteria operations, including setup, stocking, inventory of supplies.
• Prepare hot and cold items for associate meals as per menus/recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
