Job summary

Springhouse - a HumanGood community in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents across Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Health Center Dining rooms, delivering quality and safe, properly portioned dishes.

Requirements include prior culinary or food service experience and a Food Handler’s certification; ServSafe certification is preferred. Weekend availability is a must, with 24-28 hours per week, and hourly pay of $23-$25.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food including washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning.
• Cooks food via baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking.
• Prepare food for catered events and ensure meals meet dietary needs and quality standards.
