Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a full-time Cook to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with no late hours. Pay rate is $24-$25 per hour.

The Cook will prepare, present, store, and dispatch all food products for dining services, with duties across dining room, Bistro, marketing and catering events and resident tray service as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring menu items meet standards, maintaining food quality and safety, proper portioning, and coordinating with management

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience.
• Preference for retirement home industry experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to departmental policies and standards.
• Ensure correct portion sizes and temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety across all food prep areas.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Arrive on time and work efficiently to meet daily needs.
