Job summary

Artis Senior Living is seeking a friendly Cook to join our evening and weekend schedule. Starting pay is $18 / hour and full-time hours with room for advancement in a compassionate team.

You’ll learn and prepare a variety of satisfying menu items, maintain safe, sanitary work areas, and participate in daily briefings to elevate resident experiences. High school diploma or equivalent and SERV Safe certification (or eligible) are required; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• SERV Safe certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn, prepare, cook and plate a variety of menu items to company standards.
• Elevate resident experience by applying culinary skills to the community culture.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary workstation in compliance with health requirements.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings and contribute ideas for an elevated resident experience.
• Assist with other responsibilities as needed.
