Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking an experienced food service team member to perform a wide range of duties including set-up, preparation, and service of meals and beverages. The role requires leading Culinary Assistants and Student Workers to ensure timely daily production while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service.

Responsibilities also include reviewing invoices, managing inventory, and training staff in proper kitchen procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Three (3) years of experience in quantity food preparation, one (1) year in related area.

Responsibilities

• Perform food preparation and service duties including set-up and preparation of food and beverages.
• Operate cashiering duties and handle cash with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness by dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Coach and coordinate Culinary Assistants and Student Workers to ensure timely completion of daily production.
