Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity; maintain time and production records.

• Bake, roast, broil and steam meats, fish, vegetables; carve and slice meats and cheese.
• Garnish, display and serve foods according to standards and recipes.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of inventories; monitor temperatures and maintain sanitation logs.
• Follow safety standards for handling, storage, and sanitation; maintain temperature logs.
• Promote accurate portioning and reduce waste; prepare small batches to control cost.
• Provide care information relevant to age-specific needs (healthcare setting context).
