Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of Safe Food Handling and ServSafe principles.

Responsibilities

• Review production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and quantity.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, using kitchen equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam foods per recipes; carve and slice meats and cheeses.
• Garnish, display and serve food items according to standards.
• Monitor temperatures and storage to maintain safety and prevent contamination.
• Maintain temperature logs and portion controls to reduce waste.
• Demonstrate care appropriate to patient age-specific needs; comply with departmental policies.
