Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA member, seeks a Sous Chef for Providence Colby Hospital in Everett, WA. You will assist in supervising the culinary department, preparing and cooking diverse items, and helping develop daily menus while coordinating with the Executive Chef.

You may supervise hourly staff and support ordering; this role suits an energetic culinary professional aiming to contribute to a hospital dining program and patient-focused meals.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• High-volume healthcare foodservice experience desirable.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Must be computer proficient: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, email and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditures.
• Assist in planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
