Job summary

Morrison Living, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time Shift Supervisor at Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, IN. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:30 am–8:00 pm, with occasional weekend coverage. Prior supervisory and food service experience are required; ServSafe certification is preferred.

You will lead a culinary team, train staff, and help ensure quality, safety, and service standards while managing daily operations on a specific shift.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a service environment.
• Food service experience is required.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure tasks meet policy and procedure.
• Train staff and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward top performers and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and monitor quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as a point of contact for employee requests and time-off issues.
• Mentor staff and encourage career progression within the organization.
