Job summary

Morrison Living in Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, IN, is hiring for a full-time Cook. The role involves preparing meals to standard recipes, maintaining HACCP standards, and working 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with rotating weekends.

You will lead food prep operations, ensure portion control, and support production planning and ordering of ingredients. Prior large batch cooking and leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Large batch cooking experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred for supervisory duties.
• Ability to work 11:00 am–7:00 pm and rotate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality meals according to standardized recipes.
• Ensures proper portioning, serving temperatures and presentation.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and safe food handling practices.
• Assists in production planning, ordering and inventory as required.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment and reports issues.
• Adheres to HACCP standards and company policies.
