Job summary

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University invites applications for a full-time Business Operations Supervisor within Culinary Services. This role oversees cashiering, housing operations, and related logistical tasks to support daily campus dining and housing services.

Responsibilities include supervising student cashiers, managing deposits and financial reporting, coordinating summer housing, apartment rentals, and check-in/check-out processes using housing and event management

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in event planning/coordination or office support preferred.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate point-of-sale systems, ensuring accurate operation, training and support.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise cashiers including student workers.
• Provide ongoing training for high-quality customer service and accurate transactions.
• Manage cash/deposits for multiple dining/retail operations and reconcile drawers.
• Prepare and record daily deposits and maintain financial records.
• Assist with meal plan administration and account maintenance.
• Coordinate housing logistics, room assignments, and check-in/check-out for summer housing.
