A $1,000 sign-on bonus applies. The role supports Culinary Services, ensures accurate records, and coordinates housing operations for summer programs.

The position emphasizes training, cross-department collaboration, and exceptional customer service to uphold safety and service standards across campus operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years of experience with event planning/coordination or office support.
• 1+ years of cash handling or cashier duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cashiering operations, supervise cashiers (including student workers), train staff, and manage deposits and financial reporting.
• Oversee campus housing logistics for summer programming, including lofts, employee apartments, room assignments, and check-in/check-out processes.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping, professional customer service, and effective communication with campus partners.
• Provide service to students, employees, and guests; assist with meal plan accounts and related maintenance.
• Troubleshoot POS issues and coordinate updates; maintain compliance with cash handling and loss prevention policies.
