Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years of related professional experience.
• 1+ year supervisory experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages shift assignments for assigned venue(s) within Culinary Services and assists the General Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Supervises staff, plans, assigns and schedules work, reviews performance and ensures quality standards.
• Oversees operations in the General Manager's absence and serves as manager on duty.
• Ensures a safe and sanitary workplace and compliance with laws, policies, and union agreements.
• Focuses on customer service and collaborates with supervisor to meet budget limits.
• Produces financial reports to evaluate costs and efficiencies for the unit.
• Represents Culinary Services at events and coordinates with other departments as needed.
• Directly supervises 50-300 student workers and 20-30 bargaining unit staff indirectly.
