Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• One+ years of culinary services and customer service experience.
• Ability to learn and operate computer software, email, and POS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with good judgment.
• Ability to inventory food and supplies, count money and perform calculations.
• Ability to operate all onsite food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Leads culinary service staff in assigned areas and coordinates daily work.
• Maintains food handling and sanitation standards to meet licensing requirements.
• Resolves customer problems and supports staff development in customer service.
• Inventories food and supplies; determines ordering and production quantities.
• Prepares all food items as required by forecasts and recipes.
• Works at various stations and resolves minor menu/meal service issues.
• Assists with cleaning and sanitation and may train staff for events.
• Participates in department meetings and training sessions.
• Oversees work independently and communicates with customers, staff and management.
