Job summary

Era Living is seeking a Culinary Services Director for the University House Wallingford Community in Seattle, WA. The role oversees all food service operations, including menu development, food preparation, delivery, and budget management, with Sunday–Thursday shifts.

The position requires a Culinary Arts degree or certification, plus experience as an Executive or Sous Chef and strong supervisory skills. ServSafe certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of food service management, including menu planning, sanitation, nutrition, and resident services.
• Experience with large-scale food preparation equipment and methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Food Service operations, including planning, preparation and delivery of three meals daily, seven days a week.
• Direct menu development, food preparation, delivery, staff management and budget.
• Lead a large staff of cooks and helpers to ensure high-quality service.
