Era Living, LLC is seeking a Food Services Director for Ida Culver House Broadview in North Seattle, overseeing culinary and dining departments with ~100 staff. Lead menu planning, budgeting, safety and resident satisfaction, while coordinating with Dining Services Directors and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Culinary Arts degree or Certification, or Bachelor's degree in restaurant management or related field
• 2 years experience in Food Services Management overseeing culinary operations
• Experience working in long-term care, preferred
• Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Washington State Alcohol Permit or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Ensures the department delivers high quality food service, maintains standards of nutrition, food preparation, service, sanitation and resident satisfaction
• Performs all aspects of culinary and dining functions and provides training and coverage as needed
• Appropriately addresses resident and/or employee concerns
• Participates as an individual contributor to ensure consistent delivery of services
• Oversees meal plan creation and food requisitions
• Manages budgets, accounting, inventory, and annual plans for the Food Service Department
• Directs recruitment and retention of qualified employees
• Ensures compliance with food service policies, regulations, and safety standards
• Communicates with residents and staff about Food Service services
• Contributes to organizational goals with leadership team
