Job summary

Cordata Court Assisted Living and Memory Care in Bellingham, WA, is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead our on-site dining program, focusing on scratch cooking, resident-centric service, and hospitality.

You will manage menu planning, budgeting, purchasing, and compliance while mentoring a culinary team and partnering with health services to meet residents' needs. Strong leadership and a passion for older adults are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of culinary leadership or foodservice management experience.
• Willingness to learn Senior Living operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all dining operations, including menu planning, production, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as lead chef up to three days per week, upholding high standards for food quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Champion a scratch-cooking culture emphasizing fresh preparation and resident satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing dining team; foster a positive kitchen culture.
• Build relationships with residents and families; partner with health services and leadership to address dining needs.
• Manage food purchasing, inventory controls, and labor to meet financial goals; ensure food safety and sanitation.
