Job summary

New Perspective Senior Living is seeking a driven Culinary Services Director to lead the community's food and dining operations, ensuring quality service and compliance with safety standards. You will manage procurement, budgeting, and staff development while maintaining excellent resident engagement.

As a key leader, you will supervise chefs, coordinate with dietary programs, and drive a high level of service excellence.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of regulations concerning food handling, storage, preparation, safety and sanitation procedures.
• 3+ years of successful management experience.
• 4+ years experience as lead chef in a hospitality/restaurant environment.
• Culinary training and/or Dietary Certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of food, beverage, and dining services operations in the community.
• Oversee procurement, preparation, and service of food per the designated Menu Program and manage departmental finances.
• Supervise and train team members, ensure safe food handling and sanitation, and maintain inventory and record keeping.
• Engage residents and families, and develop and inspire staff through effective communication and organized leadership.

As the Culinary Services Director, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the food and beverage and dining services operations in the community. These responsibilities include oversight of procurement, preparation and service of the food per the designated Menu Program, financial management of the department, supervising and training team members. They also include ensuring safe food handling and sanitation of food areas, inventory and rotation of products, accurate record keeping and regulatory compliance. You will create and maintain a high level of resident and family engagement and practice your excellent communication and organizational skills by teaching, developing, and inspiring team members.
