Description:

The Culinary Service Cook is responsible for preparing and serving food for residents, guests, and employees. Under the guidance of the Culinary Services Director and in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the cook aims to increase residents’ acceptance and compliance, especially among those with therapeutic diet orders. The role involves promoting food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls, and providing meal services that respect residents' preferences and dignity.

Qualifications:

• Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their needs.
• Must qualify for employment following a criminal background check per Minnesota Department of Human Services guidelines.
