Wild Fork in Encinitas, CA is looking for a Team Member to deliver a memorable guest experience. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher, developing product knowledge to recommend dishes and proteins while ensuring proper inventory and online order fulfillment.

The role requires a customer-service mindset, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lb, and the ability to work in a cold environment. Benefits include training, growth opportunities, and a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required.
• Demonstrates integrity, urgency, time management and prioritization.
• Ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Fundamental math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador and educate customers about Wild Fork and our products.
• Gain product and culinary expertise through training to share recipes and tips.
• Provide a butcher-friendly shopping experience by personalizing service.
• Assist customers at checkout and deliver a memorable experience.
• Stock duties, rotate products, order, dust, and clean the store.
• Oversee price changes and operate the cash register as needed.
• Process online orders and coordinate product handouts for deliveries.
• Work in walk-in freezer and perform monthly inventory in a cold environment.
• Perform other related duties.
