NHC HealthCare Chattanooga is seeking a culinary professional to join our nutrition team. In this role you will help prepare and deliver meals that meet resident dietary needs, using standardized recipes and careful portioning.

Qualified candidates have at least two years of kitchen experience, are at least 17 years old, and are committed to quality, safety, and timely service. We value teamwork and a genuine care for our residents.

Qualifications

• Two years of kitchen experience required.
• Must be 17 years of age.
• Ability to follow recipes and diet textures.

Responsabilités

• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Review menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets; prepare and serve diets.
• Follow standardized recipes and diet orders; prepare quantities to meet service requirements.
• Test and taste foods for appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature; adjust as needed.
• Time preparation of meals and snacks to meet service schedules.
• Check trays for diet accuracy, preferences, and quality; deliver carts.
