Job summary

Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a full-time Food Preparer to join our kitchen team. You will cut and prep all menu items daily, assist with product planning, and ensure adherence to menus and recipes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of food preparation experience, and a Food Service Sanitation Certificate. Culinary training is preferred; familiarity with quantity food preparation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required.
• Must have a Food Service Sanitation Certificate.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred.
• Experience with quantity food preparation is preferred.
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes.
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and prepping all menu items fresh daily.
• Daily product mix planning in conjunction with general manager
• Review menus prior to preparation of food
• Assure that all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary (catering)
• Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
