Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes exactly as specified.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Preps, prepares and cooks all items needed for daily orders; requisition supplies daily.
• Follows all recipes and portion sizes with exact specifications.
• Peels, cuts, and prepares fruits and vegetables for various dishes.
• Cleans vegetables, fruits, and berries for salads and desserts.
• Prepares dressings and cold sandwiches.
• Operates saute/grill/pizza ovens at stations if applicable.
• Follows FIFO rotation; labels and dates leftovers; uses leftovers before opening new products.
• Assures food safety and sanitation per FDA and local codes; monitors temperatures.
• Some dishwashing may be required.
