Bristol Farms is seeking a Food Service Cook in California to prepare daily orders, follow exact recipes, and handle station duties as needed. The role requires attention to portion control, sanitation, and high standards per FDA and local codes.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, assembling salads and dressings, and maintaining proper FIFO practices. Some dishwashing and occasional station work may be required.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA and local health codes and sanitation standards.

Responsabilités

• Preps, prepares and cooks all items needed for daily orders and requisition supplies daily.
• Follows recipes and portion sizes exactly as specified.
• Peels, cleans and cuts fruits for breakfast items and salads.
• Cleans vegetables, fruits, and berries for salads and desserts.
• Mixes ingredients for various salads and dressings.
• Prepares cold sandwiches and cheeses; works on cook-to-order stations if applicable.
• Maintains FIFO rotation, labels and dates leftovers, using leftovers before opening new products.
• Inspects food and preparation for quality and sanitation per FDA/local codes; checks temperatures.
• Some dishwashing is required.
