Job summary

La Farm Bakery in Cary, NC is seeking a customer-focused café team member. You will deliver world-class service, prepare high-quality foods per La Farm standards, and support daily café operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience in culinary prep/catering, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive team-oriented attitude. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; opportunities for growth exist within a great team.

Qualifications

• > Experience in culinary field, prep and/or catering work experience required.
• > Must be able to work effectively in a confined area.
• > Knowledge of weights, volume, and cooking procedures.
• > Exceptional customer service skills.
• > High attention to detail.
• > Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player.
• > Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask.
• > Flexibility required: Weekends required, holiday work required, two days off (not consecutive).
• > Multi-lingual a plus.
• > Basic English reading and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure the highest quality food prepared to La Farm standards.
• Operate assigned café station and complete daily checklists.
• Safely use equipment and maintain utensils and tools.
• Uphold health and sanitation standards and safety policies.
• Open/close procedures and overall unit safety.
• Communicate effectively with team and manager and support a collaborative environment.
