Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Food Services Supervisor in Hutchinson, KS. The role supports café management, assists with financial operations, and helps maintain client relationships while applying culinary techniques to food preparation and presentation.

The position requires 2 years of food service experience and a strong culinary background. Competitive benefits, health insurance, 401(k), and growth opportunities are offered; schedule is full-time with weekly direct deposit pay.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Strong background in culinary arts.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with management, clients, customers and staff.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet).
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor relationships and oversee supplier performance.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to meet standards.
• Arrange for equipment purchases or repairs.
• Purchase food and supplies to ensure efficient operation with quality control.
• Determine production schedules and staffing to ensure timely delivery of services and payroll processing.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, uniforms and productivity standards.
• Record production/operational data as required.
• Manage client relationships to maintain satisfaction and retention.
