Job summary

Sesame Place, operated by United Parks & Resorts, seeks an Assistant Supervisor, Culinary Operations. You will lead daily kitchen and front/back area tasks, uphold culinary standards, and resolve guest concerns while training team members.

The role requires ServSafe Food Manager certification, strong knowledge of health and food safety regulations, and solid staffing planning. You will record labor hours, ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws, maintain sanitation, and promote a positive team

Qualifications

• ServSafe Food Manager certification is required to complete class and exam.
• Knowledge of department standards and health and food safety regulations.
• Ability to pro-actively plan daily operations based on staffing and attendance.
• Excellent communication skills across team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary service and uphold Culinary Standards of Service, resolving guest concerns.
• Manage daily sub-department labor, break rotations, and staffing assignments.
• Assist Culinary Operations supervisor with training and counseling of team members; ensure grooming and employment standards.
• Accurately record labor hours and maintain labor reports; ensure compliance with Child Labor Laws.
• Maintain food quality and sanitation standards to prevent cross-contamination while following SEA safety guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and use PPE; report any unsafe situations immediately.
