Pearl of Montclare is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee the Culinary and Nutritional Services Department, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

You will manage staff, plan menus, maintain quality and safety, coordinate with Nursing, Maintenance and Housekeeping, and lead catering and events while upholding resident care and confidentiality.

This role carries responsibility for budgeting, quality assurance, and staff development in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct the Culinary and Nutritional Services Department.
• Direct staff and ensure meals are plateable and appetizing following menus.
• Maintain inventory and purchasing processes to ensure stock levels.
• Coordinate services with Nursing, Maintenance, Housekeeping.
• Plan and execute catering needs and special events.
• Address resident feedback and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain QA program and ensure clean, safe work areas.
• Manage budget and ensure compliance with policies.
