Majestic Care of Bloomington is seeking a Culinary Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals for residents and staff. You will oversee kitchen operations, menu planning, budgeting, training, and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Dietary Manager and/or Certified Food Manager certifications are preferred or required.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are essential.
• ServSafe Manager certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations, budgeting and quality assurance.
• Develop standards for organization and supervision of culinary services.
• Supervise staff and schedule within budget and regulations.
• Conduct audits, in-services and performance evaluations.
• Maintain documentation in resident medical records and assist in care planning.
• Develop and direct cost control systems and prepare department budget.
