Job summary

Sunstream Hotels & Resorts LLC is seeking a kitchen prep worker responsible for preparing meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and standard recipes across the resort's outlets.

Must meet Florida health and safety regulations, hold a current state food handlers certificate, and maintain flexibility to work days, evenings, holidays and weekends. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Adequate manual dexterity to operate equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must comply with Florida state safety and health regulations and maintain a current state food handlers certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables) according to standardized recipes.
• Use broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment as required.
• Maintain safety and sanitation in all preparation and cooking areas.
