Responsibilities

• Trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines associates; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Advises management of purchasing requirements with focus on minimizing waste and avoiding shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperatures, and portions.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates food items; maintains safe rotations to minimize spoilage.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure safety of food supply.
• Operates food-service equipment safely per policies.
• Helps serves meals and collects feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
