Job summary

Three Pillars is seeking a dedicated cook to participate in daily food service operations and ensure high-quality meal preparation for residents. The role includes assisting in the Dining Services department in the absence of management and upholding strict sanitation standards.

You will prepare entrees, supervise when needed, and follow comprehensive infection control practices while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with some institutional cooking training.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary needs.
• Ability to work in a team with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare main entrees and other food items to meet quality standards and quantities needed.
• Have meals ready to serve at a stated time.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation practices throughout receiving, storage, preparation, serving and reheating.
• Check menus to ensure correct quantities and types of food on hand.
