Job summary

The Kraft Group’s Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA is seeking a Culinary Intern to support the Culinary Department across suites, catering, concessions, and team food service operations. This hands-on internship provides exposure to multiple areas of Culinary Operations and offers practical experience in a fast-paced stadium environment.

You will rotate through departments, attend meetings, assist with day-to-day tasks and event day preparations, and participate in special projects as business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equal technical degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan ahead, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Culinary Intern supports the Culinary Department by assisting with a variety of operational tasks to help deliver best-in-class food quality and service at Gillette Stadium. This hands-on internship provides exposure to multiple areas of Culinary Operations, including suites, catering, concessions, and team-affiliated food service operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rotate through various departments within Culinary Operations to gain valuable insight into how the Catering, Suites, Revolution, and Patriots Culinary Departments operate.


• Attend departmental meetings and assist with administrative and operational follow-up as needed.


• Support day-today culinary operations tasks based on assigned area of focus.


• Assist with event day preparations including suites, catering and concessions.


• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibility

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equal technical degree preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend and be able to lift 40 pounds.


• Must be able to climb a ladder.


• Must have a flexible schedule including nights, mornings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.


• Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The noise level in the work environment is often loud


• Will work in all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold
