Job summary

CocuSocial in Irvine seeks culinary instructors to plan and lead hands-on classes at partner venues across the city. In-person roles require teaching groups of up to 26 guests, with classes primarily during evenings and weekends, at venues within 30 minutes.

You’ll decide class topics such as handmade pasta, French pastry, dumplings, sushi, paella, or your own specialty. The company handles marketing, bookings, and guest communication, and you’ll receive $200–$350 per class plus tips.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience as chef, caterer, instructor, or accomplished self‑taught cook.
• Ability to lead a group with clear, hands-on instruction.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage time and space.
• Evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a hands-on class start to finish.
• Classes at interesting venues around the city — restaurants, hotels, cafés, event spaces.
• Groups of up to 26 guests, most often evenings and weekends.
• In-person only (venue within 30 minutes commute).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
