Job summary

CocuSocial is seeking experienced culinary instructors to lead hands-on classes at partner venues in Orange County and beyond. You will plan and execute classes end-to-end, teaching handmade pasta, pastries, dumplings, sushi, or your own specialties to groups up to 26 guests.

The role is in-person only with evenings and weekends required; you will be supported by CocuSocial in marketing, bookings, and guest communication, and you may teach as often as your schedule allows.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required: chef, caterer, instructor, or skilled self-taught cook.
• Proven ability to lead groups with clear hands-on teaching.
• Reliable, organized, and punctual.
• Evening and weekend availability.
• Nice to have teaching or demonstration experience.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent required.
• Access to a venue capable of hosting classes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a hands-on class start to finish.
• Classes at interesting venues around the city — restaurants, hotels, cafés, event spaces.
• Groups of up to 26 guests, most often evenings and weekends.
• In-person only (venue within 30 minutes commute).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
