Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar culinary role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve a variety of menu items in compliance with dietary restrictions and regulations.
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and budget to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, servers, and dishwashers.
• Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring culinary excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with our nursing team to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients.
• Manage and maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
